Peru imports about $260M of finished lubricants a year, up 22% in the latest year (UN Comtrade, 2024). Three-wheeler mototaxis alone make around 1.7 million trips a day in Lima and Callao, and Indian engine-oil shipments to Peru grew roughly tenfold between FY2020-21 and FY2025-26.
